Arqam and his team conducted an inbound training at the ACCESS Teacher Training programme held at The Grand Kandyan... Hotel. Participants of the training were English teachers working with the ACCESS programme who are in their early thirties to pushing fifties and even in their sixties so I was pretty worried how they would take it or would they even want to take part in the training.To my surprise and delight they enjoyed the activities and for the next five hours the grand ballroom at the Grand Kandyan hotel where we had the training was filled with laughter and merriment as teachers were taking part in the various activities specially designed for them and they were impersonating aunties from Colombo 7, doing caterpillar walks, dressing up in Kandyan sarees, dancing to Bharath natyum. All in all everyone enjoyed the activities and most importantly Arqam and his team were able to achieve the primary objective of the session, ie creating a strong bond among the participants, inspiring Teamwork within the groups, build trust and emphasis on the importance of the effective communication, and develop tolerance and reconciliation.Next time when I organize a training I know whom to contact. I met Mr. Arqam for the second time in the LED lanuching ceremony which was held in University of Kelaniya. He did his... session themed of passion which brings me to think twice what am I doing and what I am passionate about. I was like thinking it over and over again. You can do things but you're passionate about only few things like i am currently doing my degree in Finance but which um not really passionate on doing 😀 But somehow I have to kept going with that.His session was during a very tough time but audience were fully focused and LED team was like we did fitted the right person in the right time.Session was awesome!!! I still remember the session you did for us, you managed to tick all the boxes we wanted to cover and even go beyond.... It was a well structured programme for that short period of time. What would have taken months to accomplish you'll managed to accomplish within few hours, our whatsapp group has never been this active! I represent the CIMA Students Society which recently acquired about 20 young vibrant individuals into it's membership.... The challenge Arqi-ology was faced with is to design a workshop which would familiarize the existing membership with the new, and simulate instances through which individual intuition could be challenged as a result of working together and how it can be transformed into driving success. What i liked about Arqi-ology is the fact that they genuinely spent time developing various activities and grouping them together to successfully achieve the results we were hoping for. Arqam and Uliana make a wonderful team with his ability to articulate the activities and maintain intensity throughout, and Uliana's immense knowledge and experience in Human Psychology.I would recommend them to any organization facing various issues from glass ceilings to ineffective divisionalization.
